The client wanted a sample of the painting style I was going to use. This is a digital water color (also created on my iPad).

a sample of a few final pages with text in place that shows the color pallets for inside school, teachers and outside school, law enforcement. It was important that no guns were shown, that authority was depicted as calm and in control, and that no active shooter appeared in the book anywhere.
